Affordable Energy Coalition Responds To Remarks By FERC Chairman Chatterjee At CEA Event

Washington, D.C., November 28, 2017 – The Affordable Energy Coalition (AEC) released the following statement in response to FERC Chairman Neil Chatterjee’s remarks about the Department of Energy’s Notice of Public Rulemaking (NOPR):

“The proposed rule would cost American consumers more than $10 billion each year with little to show for it,” said Michael Steel, a spokesman for the Affordable Energy Coalition. “FERC should do what is right for American manufacturers, businesses, and families by rejecting the current proposal or any interim solution that would have permanent consequences.”
